Micro-Image Capture 2, <MIC5 and MIC7 (5mp) owners can now upgrade their imaging head to the latest Micro-Image Capture 7 technology with improved 10MP resolution, Windows 7/8/10 compatibility and a zoom range from 7x-54X plus new for 2020 High Production Software that auto detects, crops, deskews images and offers direct PDF creation.

The MIC2 head offered only 1.3MP of image resolution while the NEW MIC7 offers a full 10MP of HD image resolution. The first versions MIC2 imaging head only provided for a fixed lens with either 24x or 42x magnification and used an ArcSoft Webcam GUI, later versions provided 19-48X while the MIC7 imager comes with an HD lens with a zoom capabilities from 7x to 54x and proprietary high production software GUI that provides improved image enhancement tools, crop, flip, rotate as well as auto image detect, crop and deskew.
